The Independent also interviewed UK fashion's wunderkid Christopher Kane today in advance of his new range for Topshop, which is hitting the stores on Friday to coincide with LFW. Kane jokes that his Topshop range is all part of his 'get 'em young' strategy, when realistically it is his way of thanking Toppers for their investment in him through the NewGen programme.
The Independent explain this investment as:
Sponsored by Topshop since 2001, designers receive between £5,000 and £10,000. Not only does the scheme help designers set up their own labels, it provides a link between catwalk, high street and consumers, as designers usually create a capsule collection for Topshop in return. Kane's range will be sold in as many stores as Kate Moss's.
I have grabbed some shots from topshop.com to show you my favourite bits from the new collection. Must say I would have been super gutted if I had bought one of Kane's £225 gorilla tees from Dover Street Market only to see the alligator version cropping up in Topshop for a snip at £45. However, I didn't, so I'm quite glad! See you in the queue on Friday morning

Neurotica for Topshop
London label Neurotica have designed a capsule collection for Topshop, due to hit stores this week. Victoria McGrane grew up in Lancashire before moving to Sydney where she studied Visual Arts before assisting fashion designers Michelle Lowe Holder and Siv Stoldal. She launched her Neurotica in 2006 with a strong pint influence, her label aesthetic is 'dressed up dressed down' creating clothes for girls who are 'a bit dark and weird but unashamadely cute'.
In 2008, Victoria appeared on BBC 2's Dragon's Den in which she pitched her business to the dragons and recieved 75,000 from Peter Jones in return for a 35% share in her business.
What do you think? I love the bodysuit but the whole collection does remind me of Eley Kishimoto's cobweb collection

Gross or amazing?
My bf says gross but I say amazing:
New in at Topshop - to be fair they do look a bit cheap
The Topshop cage skirt - Susie Bubble's campaign for the cage skirt has spread as far as Toppers, brilliant! I wouldn't wear it though.
Pixie Market - bleach jersey drop crotch pants
Gold by Giles studded bag...this will be mine!
