Marc Jacobs, I love you, you're raising me up

Style.com are calling it 'Marc Jacobs' love letter to eighties era New York', the perfect anti thesis to the credit crucnh - Elleuk.com are saying that all the NYFW girls are rocking dark colours so Mark is bucking all of the trends in his native NYC, despite being a permanent resident in Paris these days.
The girls each had a different hair style, from mohawk to bouffant and make up was flourescent, here are some of my favourite outfits from the show.

The pleats in this lame dress are beautiful and the heavy duty belt gives a harsh industrial feel to this coarse fabric

Who would have thought that the gauntlet glove would be making a come back in such a classy way?

Strange material winter floral

Can someone put this pink dress into my wardrobe please? Fantastic structure, great accessories

These trousers are cut beautifully

Brocade? Shoreditch in one week, i betcha

Edgy shape, not sure about the leggings

In summary: shoulder pads are going to be huge, tulip skirts will again be popular (small steps necessary), peg leg trousers are not going away, bright pastels will rock your winter wardrobe
