The lovely Katie Mulloy wrote the Lindsay Lohan feature in this month's Elle and it's truly brilliant. After being stood up three times by Lohan, Katie decided to diarise her experience with the Hollywood IT girl and boy did she do it well.
Buy the magazine, its well worth it. Well done Mulloy, we love you!

Florence and the Machine - Drumming Song
The video for Florence's new track 'Drumming Song' is bur-illiant, you heard it here first. Ok, so that's technically a lie as Dazed Digital did a rather splendid interview with Hannah Marshall and Aldene Johnson who designed the garb and styled respectively for the vid.
I love a choreographed dance routine so this is ticking all of my boxes.
Here is a quote from Aldene about the styling behind the video:
Aldene Johnson: The brief was good versus evil, which is always a lot fun. The words disco gargoyle were bandied around a lot too! My job has always been developing Florence's style so I took what she had already and showed her how much further she could take it with some killer Raphael Young and Charlotte Olympia heels, a great Hannah Marshall dress or seven and some Dominic Jones claws.
Can you style me please Aldene!?
The mask is Manish Arora. I always wanted to be a Top of the Pops dancer so I could get down to choroegraphed shiz, maybe I'll just settle for being Florence instead?

The Uniform Project

If you read about this in The Guardian this morning then apologies, I felt compelled to blog about it due to the fact its such a great idea and it's also raising money for a deserved cause.
One lady has vowed to wear the same dress (she has several identical versions) for a whole year as 'an exercise in sustainable fashion'. Each day she will accesorise the dress with layers, hosiery, jewellery and accessories to make it as different from the previous days outfits as possible. This is a fundraising project for the Akanksha Foundation, which funds uniform and educational expenses for slum kids in India.
The dress itself is designed by Eliza Starbuck to be worn all year round - it can be worn both ways (front and back) and can be worn open like a cardigan, accessories are bought from eBay and Etsy but you can also donate accessories, which is a great idea.
You can see the daily looks here so far the uniform project has raised over $7,000, lets help her raise more

APC AW 10

I got a late birthday present yesterday from four of my very best friends in the world, it was an A.P.C. sailor cardigan and I adore it. Having been collecting A.P.C's more sailor inspired pieces over the last few seasons the cardigan is a beautiful addition to my collection.
They also let me know that the new collection is simply to die for and I should check out the lookbook stat! Some of my favourite looks are below, even more reason to visit the newly opened A.P.C London store on Dover Street.
I'm going to be recreating the first look with an America Apparel grey sweater and American Apparel vintage skirt (blue with gold buttons)
I must get hold of one of those handbags. (excuse the bad cropping)

Thanks Fran, Helen, Katie and Chlo.
